Housing cooperatives are independent of each other & have their own application and membership process.

MHC Basic Membership Eligibility Information

• All units are non-smoking;

• We have a pet policy; 1 indoor cat permitted;

• We have qualifying income ceilings;

• You must be in contact every 6 months after you have submitted your application or it will be removed;

• Able to volunteer time to the Co-op.
  
  

Share purchase must be deposited 15 days before the move in date.

Our current Operating Agreement restricts 2 bedroom units for couples only. Single applicants will not be considered for a two bedroom unit. 

Responsibilities and conditions of membership:

• Able to live independently as Meadowlands is 100 % independent living and not a care home.
  
  

• Willing to follow Co-op rules and policies and understand the importance of being a good neighbour.
  
  

• Expected to volunteer when needed.
